Early Introduction to IRR and IMC

Early familiarisation in a simulator allows you to cement processes and improve your scan technique in the comforts of a classroom. Therefore making the airtime more efficient in terms of cost and experience.

Tyne Aerosim utilises a state of the art Real Sim Gear TBM900 Simulator, in order to achieve realistic settings.
It's formed by an enthusiastic professional pilot/flight instructor who hails from the Bush and Instrument Single Engine Turboprop world.

Do the simulator hours count towards pilot ratings and certification?

The simulator is not approved by EASA or the UK CAA. Due to the excessive initial set up costs and annual recertification involved. This is not commercially viable.
However I'm in consultation with the simulator manufacturer regarding gaining approval by the FAA and Transport Canada.

Are your Instructors Qualified?

Yes. Our Instructors are EASA and UK CAA Certified. More recently FAA Ground Instrument and Advanced Instructor Ratings have been obtained.
